The International Christian Retail Show is the largest annual gathering in the world of anyone and everyone involved in the creation and distribution of Christian products. It is the place where the Christian Retail Channel meets, and it all provides some excellent interview and story opportunities for all types of media. Many newspaper and magazine writers, as well as television and radio program producers, come every year and put dozens of interviews in the can in just a few days or use the time to scout for future guests or stories. Private rooms and other interview space is made available for media to talk with the hundreds of authors, recording artists and other personalities and experts who attend the show.
In 2007 in Atlanta, over 9,000 people attended the show, including 2,859 professional attendees and over 700 international representatives from 59 countries around the world.
Christian store owners and buyers came to consider the products and services of 386 exhibitors in 1,129 booth spaces, including 67 first-time exhibitors. In addition to the exhibit floor, the Show includes Sunday Worship, idea exchanges for retailers, an awards program, autographings, workshops, and a host of receptions and events sponsored by various exhibitors.
